How We Help

Help and Inspire (HI) is a 100% non-profit organization registered in Washington State. HI is granted (501)3c Federal Tax Exemption by The Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Your donation will enable a child to go school instead of having to work on the street. We send 100% of your donation to Afghanistan.  We provide the children with financial support to attend private or public schools and provide them with basic necessities. We have no paid employees in the US.

Help and Inspire – HI helps despondent children by providing $50.00 per child monthly with the following basic necessities of life: Food, water, school tuition, uniforms, stationary, books, and transportation. HI also provides the children with two blankets every year during the winter time. Your $50.00 donation will be sent directly to the family of the child in Afghanistan via western union by HI President from Washington State.

Our Goals

HI is seeking donations to help the forlorn and unfortunate children in Afghanistan to access basic life-saving necessities. There are 80K+ children who work on the streets in Afghanistan. Our main mission is to prevent starvation and promote education in their communities in Afghanistan so they can make a better life for themselves. These children must work long hours in extreme weather conditions to get a mere $2-4 day. They shine and clean shoes, wash cars, clean car windshields, and sell homemade food for very little money. $2-4 per day is only enough to buy one meal in Afghanistan.  The children live far from Kabul in horrible living situations and walk miles to the city every day or they take public transportation. Most of them have no access to running water or electricity in their communities. They drink polluted and unhealthy water from the wells. They do not have time to go to school because they must work at least ten or more hours per day, seven days a week to earn their $2-4 to pay for food and survive.  These children suffer from all kinds of abuse on the streets daily. The children are kicked, pushed away, and hit. Their food carts get pushed and kicked as they stand in undesignated areas and cause traffic to slow down. Some people use vulgar language towards them because unfortunate children are all over the town and constantly beg and ask for money from every adult shopper or driver. Some of the children are abused when they work in such conditions. The children travel to work and work on the streets without any adult supervision. The children who work on the streets don’t have clean and warm clothes or shoes in winter time. The children wear threadbare clothes and don’t have enough food to eat on a daily basis.

That is why HI charity has conducted its winter project which is to raise donations and buy blankets from Afghanistan and distribute the blankets among street children to protect them during the extremely cold months of winter in Afghanistan. Please contact us if you are interested in our winter project.
